International Women’s Day: The Strength We Build Every Day

March 8 — International Women’s Day.

A day that invites us to remember the path of so many women throughout history. Women who moved forward with courage, faced challenges, and opened space for new possibilities.

Every woman finds her strength in a different way.

In my life, one of the clearest ways I have felt this strength has been through sport.

Practicing sports is more than physical activity. In training we experience, in real life, what discipline, consistency, and perseverance truly mean. Little by little we realize that progress does not happen overnight. It grows through repetition, dedication, and the willingness to keep trying.

Training also changes something beyond the body. It strengthens the mind, develops patience, and shapes the way we face challenges.

Karate has always been part of this journey for me.

On the tatami we learn much more than techniques or movements. We learn respect, focus, and perseverance. With practice we understand that true strength is not only in the power of a strike, but in the ability to keep training, learning, and improving.

Maybe that is why karate teaches us so much about life.

On this International Women’s Day, I express my admiration for all women who continue building their own path — in sport, at work, in their families, or in any area of life.

Each in her own way.

Because real strength, just like in karate, does not appear suddenly.

It is built one training at a time.

🥋 Happy International Women’s Day.
